We’re a family-run florist based in the beautiful Somerset town of Yeovil. Poppies Florist is run by mum and daughter, Janet and Natalie, and between us we have more than 70 years of experience in the floristry industry. Flowers have been a huge part of our lives for many years, and we still love what we do every day.
From our shop at 124 Huish, we create flowers for all of life’s occasions. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, welcoming a new arrival or simply want to let someone know you’re thinking of them, we’ll put the same care and attention into every order. We take great pride in sourcing beautiful, quality blooms, caring for them properly and creating each design by hand.
Funeral flowers are one of our specialities and an area of floristry that means a great deal to us. We understand how personal a final tribute can be, so we always take the time to listen and include those finer details that help make the flowers truly meaningful. We can create traditional funeral flowers as well as bespoke tributes and unique 3D floral designs to reflect the person you’re remembering.
We also love creating wedding flowers and working with couples to bring their ideas to life. Our experience covers everything from traditional floristry to more individual and bespoke designs, so we’re always happy to talk through your ideas and create something that feels right for you.
